Pair of antique Swedish late Gustavian armchairs, painted in lovely greyish-green distressed finish. Squared backs with carved egg and dart border, graceful curved arms with an upholstered fabric pad. Openwork splat back with carved rosette in centre, square drop insects, lovely carved apron of egg and dart, round fluted legs, joined by H-shaped stretchers, early 19th century
