Beautifully executed, early 19th century still life of flowers and basket of strawberries on a stone sill, oil on canvas, by school of I.L. Jensen, Denmark(1830-1840). Displayed in a period gilded gold frame. The school was attended by young women who ordinarily were not allowed to participate in admission to the Arts Academy; some like the artist, Anthonore Christensen became distinguished artists.
